Join the annual Scottish Pipe Band Parade in Kincardine August 29th, 2015 for the celebrations!
Every week during the Summer the Kincardine Scottish Pipers with all enthusiastic groups of pipers and drummers get together to form a parade at exactly 8 pm, rain or shine, to march down Queen Street to Victoria Park and back again to perform in Victoria Park.
Back in 1908 an enthusiastic group of pipers and drummers gathered in a small barber shop on Queen St for instruction, under the leadership of our founding Pipe Major William Young. Since 1992 the Band has welcomed pipers and drummers, Kincardinites, visitors and tourists to take part in our annual Gathering of the Bands and Massed Band Parade. We would like to welcome you and your family to our 24th Annual Gathering of the Bands – enjoy a day of fun and entertainment. We can’t think of a better way to express our appreciation for supporting us for over 100 years.
