Memories Tent, Live Music, Games, Dance, Fireworks in Hanover

It was a beautiful sunny day for more of Hanover’s 110th anniversary celebrations this week. A fantastic performance from the O.P.P. Pipe Band in the Park and an awesome music line up including Brett Baker Country Music, Zamm, Johnny Cash and Gordon Lighfoot Tribute. Many more music and dance venues at the Community Centre ( P&H Centre ) and the Memories Tent.Lot’s of activities planned for the youth including ” Story time with Christine ” and “Kids Show ” and the ” Hippie Kids Zone ” by Violet & Dandelion in the Hanover Park. Find bargains during the and special offers from businesses; discover businesses you didn’t know about during the mile long sidewalk sale as businesses have items on display or stop by one of the BBQ Stands.

The Hanover Heritage Committee has on display through the town it’s history with Posters and photographs from the early days of business district.  A ” PoP Up Museum ” is on display for the occasion at 232 10th Street when you can view photos, archives and artifacts from Hanover’s past.

The fireworks show is planned for Sunday Night at 10:30 at the Hanover Raceway.

The homecoming event runs from Monday July 28th to August 4th.
