Ontario Fairs

Rural communities in Ontario are celebrating two over centuries of traditions in annual Agricultural Fairs spread all over Ontario since 1800’s. Organized by counties and townships fairs are an ingrained part of Ontario’s culture. They promote agriculture and rural lifestyle through exhibits, entertainment, competitions, games, fair / carnival, diners & dancing and a lot of fun !

The OAAS is the provincial association representing over 220 agricultural societies from across the province.  Its mission is to act as a resource and a united voice for its members by providing leadership through education and communication to encourage them to promote agriculture and a rural way of life in Ontario.
