The trails of Wellington North lead to butter tarts for another season!

Who doesn’t like a rich, decadently sinful butter tart?
On this self-guided road tour, there are at least a dozen varieties you’ll come across, plus other inventions.
It’s an exploration of all things butter tart….  In one variation or another

Kenilworth, ON – The trails of Wellington North lead to butter tarts for another season! The sweetest, since 2006, The Butter Tart Trail provides you and your family the opportunity to experience the rural countryside and enjoy sweet tastes along the way on a self-guided tour.
The Township of Wellington North in partnership with their business community have once again come together to celebrate Ontario’s quintessential dessert by showcasing a trail of 16 stops within the municipality, featuring traditional butter tarts, experimenting with new flavours and exploring other inventions like doggy butter tart treats, pottery trays and mugs in homage to the butter tart and scents inspired by them. You may even chance upon a butter tart sundae, trifle, pie and ice cream!
